I signed up to virgins Volt package that included an unlimited data sim

checking the 02 coverage checker it shows great coverage for 4G in and outside the home (Burnley)

The connection literally runs at a rate of 0.31 kilobytes to my iPhone 13 Pro i have only been a customer for 2 weeks I’ve called in a couple of times I’m already fed up of resetting my network settings and device

I struggle to stream even a song when on the go and im not getting anywhere when calling is there anything I can do?

I would check https://status.o2.co.uk and check if you there are any service issues.

Also try changing your APN to mobile.o2.co.uk and see if that makes any difference.

Also have a look at these guides Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?

As you are outside of the 14day change of mind period, you would need to cancel the sim, and pay any termination fees, and Virgin Media will remove any Volt Benefits as well, and may put up your monthly costs.

Thanks for the reply

the post code shows all working well I have made the change to the settings suggested no change

I have come from 3 that had a 5G network running faster than my home network to 02 that is slower than dial up I feel the network coverage checker mislead me into believing the network was stable

Is there no complaint process?

@Joeburnley

Changing your apn will make no difference whatsoever. The only change that might show a speed improvement is switching down to 3g, if that is an available option in your settings.

Complaints process is outline here https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Using "Resolver" usually gets good results.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
