In MyO2 via browser, @dave111111 -
https://accounts.o2.co.uk/signin
In Manage Your Details, near the end of the page:
Other possible option below are further down below Manage your details:
And then:
That work for you?
If not, then O2 via Social Media is a possibility, ways in the link just below, and nudge them routinely to get a CS agent who is free to work with you - X/Twitter lead time is about 3 days. Good luck.

thanks again pgn, but you cannot request a pac code via app, i am only on 30 day rolling contract and i am not bothered to much about keeping my number so i am going to cancel my direct debit and move on, i have tried to do it the right way but 02 make it near impossible to leave, they can chase me for any outstanding balance see how they like it
cheers dave

@dave111111 If you cancel your Direct Debit and refuse to pay you will invite a negative rating on your credit score, which will follow you wherever you go. O2 are ruthless when it comes to non-payments. Best you get any business you have with O2 settled. Whoever told you you can't get a PAC by text is lying to you. Take a look at the guides above provided by @pgn.
