network issues and call drop out

Hi all,

For as long as I can recall network coverage and signal has been excellent at my home address. Around a month ago myself and a whole load of neighbours on O2/GiffGaff started experiencing problems with persistent call dropout and loss of signal, making it almost impossible to have a call lasting over about a minute. It seems there is a problem with a local mast but no idea of how/when it might be fixed (as others have confirmed) but I'd just like to ask what would be the best way to log this issue with O2? I'm finding it really difficult to find the right route to do this.

O2 have been good over many years but if this carries on I'll need to look at changing network.

Many thanks,

Neil.

Hi,

Having looked at the network app and logged an issue, the problem now is that the same updates re a faulty mast have been unchanged for the last few months, both for myself and for similarly affected neighbours. It is difficult to raise a complaint via phone as I don't have a landline enabled right now (long story) and it is impossible to hold a call being made from home. Would you know if there is an appropriate email address I can use to contact O2 on? Or some other means?

Many thanks,

Neil.

No email for O2, deemed insecure. But the O2 Social Media Team are quite hot, @corky_73 - pick your platform below and keep pinging them periodically on the same channel you used initially. DM on Twitter/X worked well for me yesterday morning. Good luck!

Contacting O2 on Social Media:

We are active across all the main Social channels and you can get help from us on each of these:
