Connecting my Apple Watch to my O2 mobile phone contract

Hi I’m struggling to connect my Apple Watch to my O2 iPhone contract it keeps coming up error when I try it on my watch. Would it be easier if I went into an O2 shop for them to do it on their system. Any help would be appreciated cheers

Is there an outage in postcodes WA14 / WA15?

Need to check if there an outage as phone stopped and says no sim / not registered on the network. Need to check if signal down or an issue as I have just transferred to new tariff on exisiting sim and number
