Just swapped my sim and now all incoming calls being diverted to messages. How to change this?

I swapped my PAYG sim for a monthly contract. Following the change, all calls coming into the phone are being diverted to "messages", and I can't seem to change this. Before the sim-swap, this did not happen. How to rectify the issue, please?
