applying BBC discount to my new contract

It says on my 02 that I cant apply my BBC discount to my new phone contract because I havnt had a new contract since 2020. I got a new contract yesterday and I was told I could apply this on My 02. Can someone help?

Resolved! I received a text to say I had used 80% of data but when I check my app it says I have 9.56 data lef

My message says I have used 80% of data however my app says I still have 9.57 left of 11.99 of data left. I am confused.
