Trying to get mobile hotspots via Virgin Connect app on O2 SIM, but unable to connect.
Virgin account is set up for mobile hotspots, but no profile set up.
Virgin say to talk to O2.
Help, please.

Hi RafaC.
Thanks for asking.
The answer is 'not really'.
Looking deeper on the Virgin community site it seems that this is a common problem, probably associated with Android 11 & 12 systems not allowing the 'phone to hook up to hotspots.
Bit of a foul-up on Virgin's part it seems.

Sounds like the Enterprise Certificate issue that has plagued Android since Android 11..
And to be honest Virgins hotspots are broken mostly such as the London Underground, you will be better to not use the app, and just connect with WiFi on the phone..

Hi masadaf1sh.
Thanks for your input. I' very come to that conclusion regarding the app for hotspots. It's OK for checking wifi in the house and seeing what is connected to the WiFi, but no good for the hotspots.
Virgin have failed!

It was supposed to be fixed in last month's update.....it hasn't
