Does your existing SIM, if provided by O2, fit in the new handset, @Tanya1986?

@Tanya1986

As suggested above, for an upgrade, you can use your current sim.

If it doesn't fit, you may be able to convert it, or if it's not 5g capable, do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

If you are starting a new contract with O2, from another O2 contract, you need a number migration, but if you were not previously with O2, you need to port in.

Both processes here Guide: Migration & porting into O2
