Transferring an esim

Hi, 

 

I am getting a new iphone soon.. How do I transfer my esim from old phone to new? Is this easy? Will i be without a sim for a while? Any guidance very much appreciated.

You can't transfer an esim to another device.

You need to go intore and get a new one

@Phil19 You cannot transfer the esim. You need a new esim pack. Then you can do a sim swap: 

Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update 

You can call customer service to have one sent to you, or if you have an O2 store nearby, call in and they'll do it for you. Be sure to bring photo ID with you.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

If you are on the new 360 system you can do it from there 

Go into your account and choose SIM Swap.

After putting in a security code you end up with a screen with drop down choices

These are the ones for getting a new QR code

If the option is there then you are on 360. If not then you are on the old system and getting a Pack from the store is probably the best way

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
