Every network has issues, and none guarantee 100% service update.

Have you checked for service issues in you local are using https://status.o2.co.uk

Also have a look at these guides Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

If looking at other networks look at getting some PAYG sims and testing the networks for a few weeks.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I’ve experienced the same for about 18 months.  I had some total jobsworth spout war and peace at me last week when he called re my complaint.  He said how the network is saturated but it isn’t their issue, even though they’re still signing up even more customers to a network not fit for purpose.

Tried to then palm it all off as Covid being the issue with more people now using phones after the pandemic 🙄🙄

His solution…..switch to 3G for the foreseeable, told him I’d tried and still had the same issue.  He said well you can still make calls when I e not got Wi-Fi so they’re technically still providing the coverage they said they would.

Absolute disgrace considering I’ve been with them for well over 16 or so years!

I said I wanted to leave, they said well pay up the 18 months left and you can…..so now I’m going to the Comminications Ombudsman.

I basically cannot access any data when outside of a Wi-Fi area.  So I’m paying for a service they sold to me that I’m not able to use!
