I have requested for keeping my old number from TESCO but change the provider to O2 by buying a new SIM only plan from O2. My previous TESCO SIM card has been shut down today by 6pm, and the O2 SIM is active, but O2 did not port the old number, despite my providing the PAC number from TESCO mobile while I signed up for the new O2 subscription.

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.
Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202.
