I am on Pay Monthly O2 contract, and usually the iPhone automatically transfers to 3 and I get voice text and data.
Today it transferred to 03Ireland, and I have a good data but no calls or texts.
The APN perhaps needs to be changed?

You can message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
Thanks

apn is for data so no need to change that as data is working.
Suggest you do a manual network search for "3"

The manual change didn't stick.
I reset network settings, still didn't alter
Wonder if iOS 16.4 is at fault?

Good suggestion. It didn't work even though IRL METEOR did dislodge the auto network.
I'll go to a phone shop tomorrow.

What is odd is that I have data whether the mobile network selection is locked to EIR or 03Ireland.
Neither give me calls or texts.
I tried to access help bot but it defaults to the forum this morning. You all are better than bots!

It seems to be sorted. I received a call from UK and afterwards I was registered to EIRCOM MOBILE, an option not available before.
3G only but it offers texts and calls in Ireland on O2 pay monthly.

I can receive calls but can’t make them. I’ll contact o2 to confirm if they use Eir in Ireland, unless someone here can confirm

Thanks @madasaf1sh and @MI5
I can't contact O2 by phone, unless they accept WhatsApp texts.
I am trying to understand what has changed since February 2023.
I changed my phone but it is still an iPhone on latest iOS.
