Possible O2 Scam

Hi,

I've received a suspicious SMS:

"O2:We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your payment information via: <Link Removed>

From: +447385570397

Can someone please confirm if this is a genuine message from O2?

It's a well known scam.

Ignore and block the number.

Forward text to 7726 to report to O2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Yes this is a scam. Any messages you receive from O2 will be from O2-UK not a random mobile number. Please ignore a delete. Do not open any links.
