I switched my number from another network a while ago. It’s the number I’m using on this account, and it works when it comes to phone calls and texts, but it seems the phone doesn’t recognise it since in the settings it’s displaying the default O2 number I got before i transferred my number, and it’s not letting me change it. Now I got a notification from setting saying my number will expire

Thanks for the reply. Do I reset them with the sim still inside or should I take it out first

@Jakub5

Actually makes no difference as the phone will reboot from the sim settings, but no point taking sim out unless you have to for anything.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
