PORTING NOT WORKED

I got a new PAYG sim with rolling plan from 02 last week and ask my old number be ported across (xxxxxxxxxx) . Today my old provider (1p) has shut down my old number and says they have ported it to o2 but no confirmation from 02. When you dial the old number it goes to ansaphone.

Sounds like port has started.

Keep rebooting your phone and allow at least 24 hours to fully complete.

Still no joy but interesting when tried to call old number - for 90 mins was getting a click then a recorded message that "my call had been terminated". Now I am getting an ansaphone message - but now my O2 mobile number is no longer recognized - so cant make a call on old or 02 mobile numbers! You couldn’t make this up if you tried.....
