Hi, my grandaughter went into a local 02 store looking at phones on display.  She is 16 and was offered and came home with a brand new iphone 13.  I thought 18 was the legal limit to take out a 3 year contract on phones.  She said no one asked her for ID/proof of age, just her bank details.  surely this cannot be right.  Any advice would help please.

@Twinkle Hi, something doesn't sound right here, no shop would allow a person to take a phone on contract without seeing ID/proof of address and a credit check, are you sure you haven't misunderstood what she said?

Are you sure it's not in your name @Twinkle or another adult.

There's no way the O2 computer would let that pass through a credit and affodability check.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
