Hi.
I bought a new phone last Friday from Mobilephonesdirect on O2 network. During purchase the site asked me for the PAC code to transfer number which I gave them. I received the phone last Sunday (3rd) and today is 1st time I have turned phone on and transferred everything over. I am wondering when my old number will be ported over as it says up to 2 working days which should of been Tuesday 5th, but my new phone still displays new number from the sim card they sent me. Does the phone have to be turned on before the porting happens? I have the sim O2 sent me inserted in the new phone, do I need to put the sim from my old phone (EE) into my new phone, I assume not as it's not the same network. My old phone is still working/connected using the EE sim card in it. I filled out a transfer number form on the O2 site today also.
Thanks

Until you get confirmation from O2 it's not going to happen.
Guide: Migration & porting into O2
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

Thanks MI5, just been on the Live Chat to someone and they inform me it will happen tomorrow, 3rd party didn't disclose this to O2 I believe. Agent said i'll get a text/email to say it's happening so i'll keep resetting the phone tomorrow like it says to do.
