I ported my number of 20+ years from Three to O2. I can make outgoing calls and send text messages but nobody can call me or reach me by text. I have contacted O2 all day yesterday with no resolution.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I cannot afford to lose this number.

We can't unfortunately. Porting problems are common on O2 and sometimes is takes 24 hours to settle down.

The UK based Social Media team are your best bet

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Have you rebooted your phone?

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Yes, I’ve tried everything really. I even put my sim in another phone. I think I’m just going to port out of o2 and port to my original network which was Vodafone. And hope for the best. I can’t deal with this anymore.

O2 sort your customer services out!!!!

I would be inclined to take the advice offered by @Enlli and to contact the social media team. They are based in the UK and have a good record for solving customer problems.

I think that you are taking a big risk if you try to port-out of O2 whilst the port-in is incomplete. 👍
