Not receiving texts from nhs

I receive all of my text messages except ones from my nhs practice. The have confirmed there is no problem at their end. Any thoughts ??

This is a customer to customer community, not O2, so we cannot access your account, sorry.

You need to contact O2.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)  (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

If you can move your SIM temporarily to another handset, and have the nhs practice send you another message, see if the problem lies with some blocked number on your own handset @TT17 

There was a case here of the SMS recipient swiping messages sideways in their Messaging app, instead of deleting them - inadvertently adding the number of the sender of the message to the handset's blocked numbers list...

The issue was not with the sender, but with a misunderstood app on the receiver's side.

Did you port your number in from another network by any chance, as it sounds like NHS IT are pushing the SMS directly into the owner of your mobile number. 

Get o2 to liase with the Network that owns your number..

 

And I wouldn't trust what a receptionist tells you at a GP's, its usually the answer when they cant be bothered...
