No service for 4 weeks - losing customers

I've recently become an o2 phone customer and have unfortunately encountered the worst customer service experience of my entire life.

I signed up for o2 service in Oct thinking it might be better than vodafone for work travel for myself and my husband. Whilst my phone is active and working my husband's line has been "stuck in processing" for almost a month.

His work phone number was ported by customer services who assured us last week the line was now active only to be told the line is still "stuck in processing" which subsequently meant that number is now unusable with no phone service whatsoever for his business work phone.

A helix ticket was raised on Nov 11th.... its gone to the "back office" several times - I've called customer services every day for the past month with no progress whatsoever.

I requested we cancel the service so we can move to a different provider as we are losing customers every day that we have no access to this phone line to be told we can't access his PAC code until his line is no longer stuck in processing. This means his work phone number is effectively being held hostage by o2 with no option to access it at all!!

I'm at a total loss as to what to do. Can anyone offer any advice?

@flyc23

A common complaint these days.

There is an email you can contact which is the back office mnp team.

I'll see if I can find it and come back to you.

Edited to add: mnpbackoffice@o2mail.co.uk

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

As we are all customers, all you can do is peserve with o2 business customer services (assuming you have opened business accounts and not using a consumer contract for business purposes and thus in breach of the t&c's), unfortunately there is nothing else we can advise..

Guide: How to find help & contact O2  you may find social media is the best option...

Out of interest, was this based on coverage levels? Or another factor?
