Unable to log in to my o2 account

Post from the VM webiste - I was guided to this forum for help by VM.

 

I have not been able to log in to my O2 account for a few days on the app or website . I enter my virginmedia.com email address but i get an error to say it is invalid. When i click forgot email address i get a text with the exact email address VM are saying is invalid. ???

I am about to go abroad and need to add data to my O2 mobile but cant access the account.. 

This really is awful service . Looking in this community it looks like VM /O2 have not tested this new merge of services at all. 

I have several mobile accounts which i now cant access. 

Chat has been no help , Phoning customer service has no idea why i cant access and raised a ticket from which i have heard nothing and my next stop is the local o2 shop where i will probably be fobbed off. 

VM/O2 please sort this , your about to lose a lot of customers.

You need to contact O2. Unfortunately, this is a customer to customer community so we cannot access your account.

If you do a quick search you will see a few posts on this , and one where the community manged @Dave-O2 is collating reports.

Customer Services wont be of any use to you, so ignore the CTRL+V reply above

Has there been a solve for this? I am having major issues and cannot get anyone from O2 to help - I need to update the payment card on my sons rolling plan...hes fallen onto just PAYG and its extortionate. Nobody will take card details and I cannot get into his MyO2 since updating it to the VMO2 😕 ANY help appreciated!!

The only fix for an invalid email is to create a new one (I used gmail) and use that to create a new MyO2 account for that number.

I am using a gmail email - its not an invalid email? Or do you mean that the issue is its not liking certain emails generally? I am not sure how to set up a new account for the number if its already linked to his email...sorry if thats totally not tech savvy? 😕 I am wary of mucking things up further!

It only works if you are getting an invalid email warning, as per the thread you posted on.

If your issue is different, you need to start your own new post with details of your exact issue.
