How can I trigger an investigation into the people who I've spoken to at o2 as I'm 90% sure that they are selling my information.

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.
Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202. Ask for the fraud team
Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

As well as the suggestions by @Cleoriff above, @1barsignalstren - check your privacy settings in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 to see if your personal data sharing checkboxes are set as you would like:
Good luck!

You need to go into MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
Along the top of the page you will see various headings. It's in the section MORE. Drop down box will show Contact Preferences. Click on that and you will be able to untick the boxes you don't want
O2 will send you a text to make sure it's you

I'm not sure I would be getting emails from other services warning me of a data breach if it was legal. After speaking to many people at o2 I'm even more sure it's them who's doing it. 45 minutes and all I got was hung up on multiple times

Is there an o2 main office in uk I can contact. I'm genuinely unsure of how to handle this after calling them. Do I speak to a separate fraud service? Is there even a fraud service. It can't be the law I have to call.

I'm not sure that anyone at the level of advisors would be aware of any data breach. Even higher up the chain I doubt it.
If there was a data breach I would suspect there would be multiple complaints. It is unlikely that O2 would cover it up.
If you are sure of your ground the Information Commissioners Office would be a port of call
However, I suspect there is a simpler answer
In the meantime make sure you change all passwords etc.

Who is sending you emails of a Data Breach?
Do you use the same email address and password on multiple services?
The Police wont do anything the best bet is the ICO and action fraud, who seem to do very little in fairness apart from a incident number (typical police to be fair). https://www.actionfraud.police.uk

Think it would be unwise to say which companies contacted me as I believe some o2 employees are responsible and this is a community page anyone can look at. I'm going to firstly contact the head office in slough and hopefully they investigate. I'm sure they will. Thanks to all who messaged me back to help

There is a fraud service but you need proof not suppositions. Or you could complain
https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain . follow that and use RESOLVER in the link.
