Mobile data not working in EU

I am in France but my mobile data isn’t working even though it is switched on. Any ideas how to get it to work? It usually works in other EU countries.

If you have an iPhone, try changing the data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

Also try a manual network selection and try different networks on any phone.

If you have been outside of the UK for more than 63 days you may also have restrictions on your account due to O2's fair use policy.

I have changed the APN like you said and it now works. Any ideas why idata which is what APN was set as before, didn’t work? Thanks for your help.

It's because you don't have iData enabled on your account.

You need to call O2 to have it enabled when you get back home, then you can revert your apn to iData.

Any idea how you can speak to someone about not getting data roaming. Tried everything and not working. Going round in circles trying to contact someone. Thanks
