I am in malta but have no mobile Internet. My mobile data is turned on but nothing works.
Any help would be appreciated

A few things to try.
Manually search for another network
Reboot your phone
Make sure mobile data is turned on
If you have an iPhone, change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
If none of the above works, then contact O2 on +44 7860 980 202 and ask them to remove the roaming bar on your account. You can also message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
