I CAHNGED MY PROVIDER FROM EE TO O2 AND I GOT THE pac CODE AND SENT TO O2 ,I CAN SEE O2 SENT ME AN EMAIL WITH A NEW NUMBER BEEN ACTIVATED AND NOT MY OLD NUMBER .IS THAN NORMAL PROCESS AND THEN ONCE I USE IT IT WILL CHANGE TO MY OLD NUMBER OR THAT AN ERROR?

You start with a temporary new number.
Once you are up and running you should get a date for the transfer
