Hi, My number ported over from EE today. Everything seems fine except I can't activate Imessage for my phone number. The option is there but if I click on it it just says 'an error occurred during activation'. Any ideas?

Have you changed the mobile number in the settings from the o2 temporary number at all?
You may also need to speak to Apple Support, as its an Apple Service (networks just facilitate the sending of an SMS and data traffic).

Settings >Phone >My Number.
Edit, save and reboot phone.
