iMessage and Facetime activation not working

Hello,

 

On the 6th of November 2024 since around 6pm, iMessage and FaceTime have not been working on my iPhone but works on my iPad. It keeps saying waiting for activation. I contacted Apple Support and did as told but still no change. Apple Support then asked me to contact the phone number provider to see if there’s an issue with the phone number related to Apple since some providers don’t allow it or have to be activated sometimes. 

Please help me ASAP.

You need to contact O2 to ask them to add the idata bolt on

Check your APN is set to idata.o2.co.uk

 

You need to contact customer service
