Hi, I am currently in South Africa and I have accidentally left my data on. I thought it will be automatically disabled since I am outside of the UK and the Eurozone. However, the next day I got a message that I have spent over 46 GBP more than my usual allowance. I want to turn the data off so that it is impossible for me to incur any further charges however I have not found out how to do that. Also, I would like to ask about a possibility of a refund as I have not been aware of having to manually turn off the possibility of using data outside of the Eurozone nor have I received any warning messages/notifications.

Switching data off depends on your make and model of phone.
Most Android phones have two switches one to turn data off. One in setting/ Connections/ Data usage and the other under the network settings. I advise turning both off. I'm sure iPhones have similar.
We are all customers here so can't do anything about charges.
