Hello all,
Where I live I've not got great signal, barely get 1 bar on the best of days.
I upgraded my phone to ensure I could have Wi-Fi calling, I now have a device that supports and it is enabled in my O2 settings.
The issue is - is that it still tries to search for network signal most of the time, and I cannot get Wi-Fi calling to 'override' that, meaning I cannot actually make/receieve any calls over Wi-Fi calling for the majority of the time!
How do I force it to use Wi-Fi calling by default when connected to Wi-Fi?
For reference - I'm on Android and have a Samsung Galaxy A70
Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Poly101
I heard from another member that the Samsung Galaxy A70
isn't good at Wi-Fi calling.
Could you give Samsung a call for advice?

Many thanks for the reply.
I'll give them a go - but I can't see how it's the device, as the device does do Wi-Fi calling, it just won't default to it.
Furthering this - I found O2 'TU' on my phone, and have downloaded/installed the app (as I believe it can be used for Wi-Fi calling). However, I cannot register to it - the app says it will send me a code via text, but the text never comes - and if I select 'No signal', the website it takes me to won't load (page not found).

I spoke to samsung support - they took me through a variety of options, but the problem still persists.
I've set my 'Calling' so that it is 'Wi-Fi Preferred', but it's still pot luck whether it defaults to Wi-Fi Calling or not - I often wake up in the morning to see that my phone is using network signal instead - despite the fact that the Wi-Fi is on/wi-fi connection is good.
