Apple watch data plan problems

New to 02 24 May, added apple watch (from Apple) data plan 1st June, then problems for two weeks with incoming calls not connecting even though my phone was ringing so callers hung up.

 

Eventually this was sorted when I asked to leave, however I had deleted the data plan in one of my own attempts to fix things.

 

So asked 02 to reinstate data plan and they tried but said it was stuck on the system. Eventually on 13th June had message to say data plan activated and shows as activated on the watch and in the app but there is "no connection" when watch is away from phone!

 

Have rung 02 again this morning and from the notes the chap tells me it is still stuck on the system and a ticket has been raised and should be sorted within 5 working days.

 

I will not document here the amount of time and phone calls I have made but it has been very very frustrating and frankly stressful since joining on the 24th May. I am left with no confidence that as I've been told this will be sorted shortly.

 

I see others have had similar problems, can anyone tell me if and how the issue was solved or indeed is there anyone who can help, how do I get in touch with the technical gurus that customer services tell me are working on it.

@02Emma please can you help me? After weeks of this I’m so glad my phone is now OK but I need the data plan for the watch to work, I am retired and need to be able to use my watch to call if I forget the phone?
