 hello,

I bought an Apple Watch Series 8 with cellular 2 weeks ago, and cannot activate my mobile data plan. Every-time I click on ‘Set Up Mobile Service’ in the Apple Watch App, I get an external o2 link pop up, which loads and then displays the attached screenshot. I have unpaired the watch, reset to factory settings and then set up again, and nothing has worked. O2 customer support (202) have been no help 😞

Exact same page I get it is obvious there is a big issue here but why is o2 not doing anything about this? There are hundreds of people in this o2 community who have the same issue!!!😡

I agree, we paid extra for the cellular option and cannot use it. I was put on hold by customer services today for 45mins and then they put the phone down on me!

@Wellerfan

One of our members took his to an O2 shop and they sorted it for him.

If not you have to persevere with customer service

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) OR 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

still No luck! My error message has since changed saying that o2 are busy setting up my Apple Watch on their network and that it can take up to 24 hours…4 days later and it still says the same!

I may have to do the same, although I went to my local o2 shop 2 weeks ago and all they did was give me their landline and put me on the phone to o2 customer service, which I declined as I’ve already been on the phone to them numerous times 😞
