Hi there,
My wife is upgrading to a new phone that has 5G capability. Her orginal phone, bought in 2017, only supported 4G but used a VM SIM card that was marked '5G Ready'. Since the switch over to O2 is it necessary to get an O2 SIM card to access all 5G services or will the orginal VM SIM do just as well?

As @Cleoriff mentioned the best way is to change the SIM in store.
The reason for that is when a SIM is ordered through Customer Services they have this crazy policy of disconnecting the old SIM before the new one arrives
