i created an O2 account a couple of days ago then it logged me out and said it can take up to 48 hours for my account to be activated, it also said if it has been over 48 hours get in contact but when i try to get in contact it takes me to the app and gets me to log in which i can’t do as its not activated what do i do

If using the app, try deleting, rebooting phone and then reinstall the app.
This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
