I am a new customer. I just filled in the "keep my number form" yesterday. However after I finished, there was no feedback to me in any form: no text, no email. I wonder whether the process of transfering my old phone number to the new phone is going on?

You'd likely not get any feedback on a Sunday as the porting team only work Mon - Fri.
You should get an email with the date of change once the request is processed though.
You can always chase it up with customer services if you don't hear anything http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
