unable to connect to the net whilst roaming

Able to use internet on wifi
But today and yesterday am unable to use net whilst roaming
Can make and receive phone calls
Have lg g3
Have checked service status - all fine
Have checked and all settings are as expected to allow internet browsing
Have done both soft and hard reset of the phone
All to no avail
Anyone got any ideas please?

There should be a dot next to the name of the apn which will light up when active.

That's your problem then. You need some way of selecting that new apn you have just created.

Can you get an O2 Guru in store to look at it for you or post a screen shot of the page here for me to look at?

Ok now have issues attaching image!
When I select to upload image nothing happens (on phone)
No option to attach when in myo2 on tablet
Very frustrated
Will have to find an O2 shop I suppose gah!

Ok had sesh with o2 guru.
He said the apn wasn't working (as you advised)
Checked and it seems latest LG update was causing this
So he removed the software update and hey presto the apn I'd added had the little dot and I now have internet access!!

So this update both removed apn, and stopped you being able to add it again
