brought a used sim wanted to register in my details, but its already registered in someone else email and i dont have there password. what are my options?

It sounds as if you need a new sim for your phone @Anonymous/ If so you can pop into any O2 store and get one. Or order one online https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/

i have £182 credit on it plus its a easy to remember number which i want to keep!

It's easy enough to keep your number @Anonymous. I am unable to provide a link for that as on mobile. However as said....if you go instore to O2 they will transfer everything over to a new sim

To register the sim with your details would mean the original owner would have to contact O2. No other way round it I'm afraid.

Maybe if the op had stated they had bought a used PHONE (not sim) I may have given a different answer....
