o2 4G setup wizard not working?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've recently changed my tariff over to a 4G based one, my new SIM card arrived yesterday and its all activated and working in my iphone 5. However the o2 setup wizard appears to keep crashing preventing me from ensuring that I have 4G setup on my phone

Is there anyway to check it manually?

No need for the wizard at all.
Just put your 4g account sim in the phone, turn on 4G in network settings and away you go slight_smile

However, if you only have an iPhone 5, O2's 4g won't work as it's on a frequency not supported by that phone 😞

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

ahhh, I see, so no 4G for me regardless, not a worry, it was more about getting more data really than anything so don't really need the 4G

Thanks for the help!

If it does become an issue for you 4G is supported on your phone but you would need to change provider.

Yeah, you'll still get the extra data to use on 3g, so no worries there.
