Not on contract unless you took out a new contract, @PinkPig180 - I recently was sent a new 5G-capable SIM, as my old SIM was 4G only - I used the Swap my SIM part of MyO2 to move my number from the old 4G over to the new 5G SIM, less then 5minutes in total to do, starting with the old SIM in your phone. Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update also explains other ways to do it, but MyO2 app way here...
