Hi

I'm about to join O2 from Three and just wondered if there any cons to getting a new phone and contract via a reseller like MPD or affordable mobiles vs O2 direct?

I've seen a contract on Affordable mobiles for £36 a month, but the same deal is £55 on O2... which is a big difference.  Other than the big difference in cost, are there an advantages of getting it direct from O2?

I'm wondering that if i got the deal from affordable mobiles, who do I turn to for issues during the contract (like problems with making/recieving calls, network issues etc.??) I assume I'd still go the O2 helplines?

cheers

Your contract is with O2 and as such customer service is exactly the same

The only ifference is that direct from O2 you would be on a Refresh contract as opposed to a fixed term contract with MPD

Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

Apart from that the contract will be essentially the same other than O2 Travel but you can Google that
