This has nothing at all to do with O2.

It is either a phone fault or a WiFi hotspot fault.

Have you tried forgetting the hotspot and reconnecting to it?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi and welcome to the Community

If you have BT Broadband at home you then have access to 5.4 million wifi hotspots across the country.

Sky Broadband also offer free wifi via The Cloud. Many shops and cafes offer free wifi as do o2 wifi.

I recommend keeping your wifi on and selecting free open wifi when you see it.

Well I am struggling to find these "wifi spots" where I am and as the mobile data isn't working, I cannot even connect to the wifi in my office as I normally do!

Are you sure you haven't turned wifi off accidentally or the phone has disabled it when on low battery but  it's not been re-enabled.
