lost My Phone

I was out last night and I lost my sony xperia z1  I contacted the police and told them also told o2 worse thing is I recently just had bought this phone and I did not insure it ahhh man have 2 go and spend more money on a new one

Not having a very good time at the moment @Anonymous As said, check home insurance you normally get cover for personal items.

Just make sure you insure the s5 @Anonymous and make sure the insurance covers loss some companies offer loss as an extra

Yeah an iPhone 4. Went out and bought an iPhone 4S the same day.

Ouch !

Now my phone does not go in my pocket. It goes in a hip holster under my shirt !

Thankfully I had a sim pin, 4 digit pass code and some jail break tweaks that added another layer of security.

Now ios7 has introduced activation lock hopefully it will help apart from those that pass them on for parts 😞

I had no phone so just but the bullet.

I always wonder how folk nowadays can have so much technical kit and 'just go out and buy a new one'

if it gets lost/stolen or broken? (due to no insurance)

I always remember my Dad saying to me 'You must have more money than sense' when he thought I had

been extravagant....now I find myself saying exactly the same to my sons.

I needed a phone.

I wanted an iPhone and the 4s was the natural upgrade to the then year old iPhone 4.

I didn't want a dumb down phone.

I did have the disposable income.
