ONot really. I have been charged for a day's use of my phone roaming abroad. I am not aware that I used it except to look at the text O2 sent me. If I have been charged for that I htink it's a bit harsh. But small amount so not worth spending much time on. Just feel it's a bit unnescessary and iy=t has highlighted to me how diofficult it is to talk rto someone at O2 now.

Texts are free to receive so you shouldn't have been charged for that.
These are difficult times for everyone so customer service will be very busy right now unfortunately.
