emergency calls only

hello on friday i got a new phone and sim. kept the same netwrok (o2) did the number swap to keep the same number and it was working fine for a few hour until it started saying emergency calls only.

Ive turned the phone on and off again
taken the sim out cleaned it etc
tried in other phone
turned flight mode on and off again
hard reset, soft reset
fully uptodate with bills

and i still get the emergency calls only any idea how to fix this?

Sounds like a faulty sim.

Call customer service.

Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
