You can't on O2.
Which allowance are you worried about exceeding?

@Anonymous If you want to cap your spend, you can switch to Tesco Mobile, which uses the O2 network. Three will also cap if you ask. Don't know about the other networks.

You can monitor your allowances in myo2 or use a payg account

I was posting about this very thing the other day. @Toby is passing on feedback to the powers that be, but don't expect this to change in the short to medium term, if ever.

You can't exceed your data allowance as it is stopped when you reach your limit. As for texts and calls keep a regular check in My O2.
