call limits and a block on calls when monthly limit is reached

Anonymous

have searched around and not found an answer to this ...

is there any way of setting a limit (either time or money) on any phone call made? so that, for example, you need to 'press X on keypad" to continue once you reach your notional block.

thanks

john

not much good when the first time you notice is when your bill arrives 😞

as it happens it was right at the end of my 'month'

am less than impressed about the whole business and have added it to the 'reasons not to renew with o2' list i'm rapidly building

You can usually set the phone to beep in the earpiece every minute when on a call which may alert you to a call left accidentally active.

maybe i should explain, for clarification:

i had managed to rack up a 2.5 hour call as neither my phoine or my partners (also on o2) had disconnected properly. so I would rather like for that not to happen again. so i don't get another £50+ bill

Smiley Frustratedwell I will now I know that this can happen ...

but it would be even better if there was a machanism which would stop or limit things ...

although that would be something to benefit the customer ...

muy estupido

What if you were on an urgent call that was really taking that long? Would you want O2 to interrupt your call or cut you off then?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
