Has anyone else seen this in myo2 in the Upgrade Options
It is telling me I can either do a SwitchUp or and Upgrade with £0 to upgrade when the device plan is still live
Asked on Live Chat and they say I can upgrade as well, but still have the old device plan to pay if I dont want to do a Switch Up, and as usual the terms dont match the offer... As if there is £0 to pay then there is nothing to trade in...

I should be about 6months away from upgrade, @madasaf1sh - but I am seeing:
Alas, O2 overnight system updates in flight ATM, so cannot explore further.

Funny this has been posted today as I was talking to my grandson about upgrading his O2 tariff.
He checked and said he could, IF he took out a longer term sim only tariff.
I asked him to double check as I knew his tariff still had 8 months outstanding.
(Since 360 was introduced I haven't been able to upgrade my sim only, without paying the balance in full)
He sent me a screenshot which showed he was 'suddenly' able to upgrade.
Like @pgn, I haven't been able to check mine as My O2 is down for usual updating.

There is a message on my account which states I can upgrade today if I pay £x or wait until December 4th to upgrade without charge
However, if I click on 'upgrade options' it tells me I can upgrade now if I take out a longer sim only contract or take out a phone on refresh
So yes your grandson is correct @Cleoriff

And now it is back to "normal", ie "...by paying £xxx.xx", the little tease:
It's screwin' wit'ya!

I did, @Cleoriff - still insists, as I pay for a bundled phone and tariff deal from a reseller, that I have to pay £xxx.xxx to upgrade - which is as I would expect. It matches exactly the answer I get when I test INFO to 85075, for a change, so well done O2 for getting both figures correct for a change.

My Grandson's info still the same this morning and he has just successfully upgraded his sim only with nothing to pay on old tariff.
So he's happy. 😂
BTW, he did look on USwitch but we weren't sure whether he would still have to pay off current outstanding
tariff if he went via that route, so to be 'safe' he went via O2 direct.
