Upgrade Question

I have an airtime only plan currently, using a 3rd party device, a £50 cheapo from amazon. Currently paying around £25 a month. If i 'upgrade' and get a new device, will i be paying the new 'contract' of device + airtime, on top of my current Airtime Only?

I'm asking because i'm hoping i can scrap my current airtime only, and get a new phone and airtime plan without having to pay for both. Is that possible?

Not if you upgrade. You can go from Simo to refresh without fees at anytime.

@AdamC as long as you actually upgrade from your current SIM only tariff the new upgrade will completely replace your old tariff.

Alternatively, if you take out a new contract (as sometimes those are better value) then you can transfer your number across.
This will result in a one month cross over (you pay both for one month) so take that into account...
