Have you tried another network sim? That's the usual response for an unlocked phone.

Good morning @Geordiephil, it'd be great if you could let us know what you've tried so far so we can help further - our handy Community Guide outlines all the steps of the unlocking process, and as others suggested above it'd be fantastic if you could also try inserting a non-O2 SIM in your phone as it might already be unlocked
