Hey guys,

I have just realised that on my Pay Monthly bill, there is a section of Premium and Info Services - Recieved. £5 has been added to my bill because of a number 69119.

I have texted STOP to that number but it keeps going! What should I do with it?

Please help!

phonepayplus have been doing it on behalf of ofcom since 2007

Under the Communications Act 2003, Ofcom has responsibility for the regulation of premium rate services. In December 2007, it was confirmed that PhonepayPlus will act as the agency which carries out the day-to-day regulation of the PRS market on Ofcom's behalf. from there website

Had the same issue with this company sending 8 texts over a 3 week period. Sent them an email asking for a refund, had a reply within 2 hours offering to send me a cheque.

Well done, most UK companies will co-operate if they want to stay in business. slight_smile
