@Anonymous Report it here if you have concerns: http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/for-consumers
O2 has no control over who sends you texts. You may have clicked on something inadvertently. Happens a lot when using Facebook.

That is how they get your details and the small print of such comps is giving them your consent to scam money out of you every week!

Hi all
ive just got off the phone with o2, apparently o2 are working on how this company is getting hold of people's numbers, it is a scam.
If you receive a text from this number ... 60447 ... Contact o2 to make them aware right away, they will then block that number from sending you texts. o2 will then ask you to reply to the text with the word ... Stop ... And give you a number to ring this company (which is automated) they ask for your name and number and you tell them you don't want to receive anymore text correspondents from them, I didn't use my real name when I rang, I used a kids fairytale name so if I ever receive another similar text from another scam company and they use my fairytale name I'll instantly know it's a scam.
thanks for all your help 😊👍

@Anonymous We know it's a scam. That's why you were advised to report it to PhonePayPlus. I've never been convinced that texting STOP will ever do anything other than letting the scammers know they found a live number. Giving them a fairytale name won't stop you from being charged when you receive the text.

It's a company called Viva La Voucher http://www.vivalavoucher.co.uk/page/terms
It states this on their home page. This is a subscription service and will cost £2.00 per week until you send STOP to 60447. Helpline 03447451791.
Personally I wouldn't send stop to the number. I would phone them and ask to have your number removed from their database or you will report them....
Edited to add...I very much doubt O2 have the power to stop them either...

Normally sending STOP will get you an automated reply and another £2.00 charge. I have my doubts O2 can block this number?
